iRiver Clix 2
For my birthday I replaced my bright pink iPod shuffle with a fabulous smart black iRiver Clix 2 8GB MP3 player! It can play music, videos, FM radio (with lots of presets!), store photos and play games! I loved my iPod shuffle, but after using it for a year I finally decided it didn't have enough functionality and replaced it with the all singing all dancing iRiver Clix 2! It is called a Clix because you 'click' your way around all the options using the body of the player. The areas to the left and right and above and below the nice size bright colour screen act as buttons - great if you don't like small buttons or switches! There are a few buttons on the side of the Clix - these are bright red! - but you don't need to use them very often. The red buttons control the volume, turning the player on and off and the is one special button called the Smart button which you can programme to do a certain task from a range of choices such as shuffle, repeat, etc. The Clix has one socket for earphones/speakers and another for the USB cable to connect to to your PC or charge up the battery. This means I can charge the player while I am listening to music or watching a video as I have a usb power plug! So far I have loaded up all my music from my laptop to the Clix and preset the FM radio - and it was all very easy to do! I bought my iRiver Clix from Amazon for £129 and I'm thrilled with it!
